Fair enough…either way isles have ton of cap space. I think he’s worth more than league minimum - put him at $2.5M instead of $4M I had before. Cap is going up and players like Labanc get bigger deals than they should every year (especially when Lou Lamoriello is involved…)

Updated to be CHI who has pretty much 0 center depth. They could really use Pageau

He doesn’t contribute offense and has a huge cap #. Isles are better off unloading his deal and getting Bortuzzo back on a 1yr minimum and can always upgrade at the deadline if needed. They desperately need to get younger and shed cap if they ever want to compete with teams like NYR, CAR, FLA, NJ, and BOS in the East. Maybe they can get a 2nd for him? Definitely don’t think a 1st at his cap hit.

Pulock easily yields a 1st + top prospect. Top pairing RHD's with term are rarely ever available and most teams need them.

That would be an incredibly good outcome for the isles…if he can fetch that they would be morons not to deal him
