Sharks would take on cap dumps including RyJo, but I suspect the price for 4Mx1.25 years is more like a 2nd.

Byram would be more than a lot. When he was playing he was one of the best players on the avs. This would be the time to try to get him though still highly unlikely. A healthy Byram is about as untouchable as any player in the league. If Rathbone had to go back that certainly would not crush the deal.

Value is decent but i don't think the canucks are going to sell at the deadline with the pace they are at right now, would feel unfair to the players to pull the rug on them after getting this close back into the playoff picture

Bruins have no use for Compher. They would be interested in Donskoi or Graves.

I don’t mind picking up Graves, and pushing Mete out, but you’re not getting the SJ 2nd, maybe a 3rd

1. Jost is worth 2nd + 3rd
2. COL has to pay to get rid of 4.25M of Ian Cole. He is a 31yo UFA D, who costs more than he is worth. We dont want him next year and cant use him this year.
3. Youre asking for a 1st round pick RHD, and the 33OA pick AND a 2nd next year. LOL
OTT counters with Jost+Cole for 2020 WPG 3rd.</div></div>
Avs do not have to pay to get ride of cole, he’s a solid dman who is making fair market value, he’s not a cap dump or negative value
Ott doesn’t need him but don’t pretend like he has negative value

I wonder what a Barrie extension would look like? Kerfoot is a good player, and his numbers probably end up inflating by playing with a deeper team in Toronto, but that's a lot of Nylander to give up for 1 year of Barrie.

btw you dont need to create players like makar, bowers, morrison, etc since they are already in the Avs system. Just click "sign reserve list"
also, the max you can pay makar is 925k on an ELC and you also have to pay greer and toninato more. since they are rfa's that made between $660k and $1M last season you need to pay them at least 1.05 times as much as they made on their last contract

2019
I think Ottawa's pick will likely end up higher though not Hughes higher (I'd be ecstatic if it was second and we took Kakko but again unlikely and probably irrelevant to the roster as they'd do the same as with Kaut I would think or minimum as they did with Mikko). Wolf might fall to the third round so I'd actually consider Knight for the second and Wolf in the third if he's still there. I realise two goalies taken that high in the draft by a team is probably unusual but the Avs lack depth at that position, and I'd take a gamble on Gahagen as a free agent for the Eagles as he should have finished his military service by then.
I like Compher with Jost and Kerfoot and Kerfoot has to be the centre on that line. I don't see Jost other than as a wing even though he was drafted as a centre. Greer hasn't shown much in the NHL to date even if his AHL stats are good this year. I think he's more trade bait than a likely piece. Kerfoot's money may be a bit high and Zadorov is likely to want more I expect (even if there is a question mark on whether he deserves more). Makar or Timmins will be in ahead of Meloche. I feel a bit sorry for Meloche as he's a decent looking D and again he could be used in a trade as 'Righties' are always at a premium. Nieto & Barberio could be traded if we can add someone more useful, both decent but upgrades would be good or maybe trade Barberio and give Graves a look, and Nieto's slot could be filled by Greer.
Barrie is going to be an interesting one and I'm still in favour of converting him to wing to allow Makar/Timmins/Meloche to come through, but he may get traded. Varly I'd bring back IF he took a pay cut (to make up for all the time the Avs have stuck by him whilst injured), because that tandem is looking awesome at the moment. Grubauer could be traded to Columbus and acquire another late first as an alternative and re-sign Varly with Francouz as back up IF he's showing that he's good enough (looking good so far in the AHL). Wilson I'd also consider bringing back for the right money.
All hypothetical but on that line up I'd switch Makar in for Meloche, Kerfoot to centre, Jost to the left and switch Kaut and Compher.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Skywalker87</b></div><div>I don't mind the duchene trade. I would sooner have pulock over hamonic, but hamonics contract is nice for now and move able later. What can you tell me about dal Colle</div></div>
Dal Colle is a Big body power winger with a very sound 2 way game. He had a scoring touch and great offensive vision (in that he knew where players were without looking at them, and could anticipate where they were going) in Juniors. he didn't quite translate to the pro game as quickly as we all hoped. but as many prospects notice, the speed of the game at the NHL level is much greater than that in juniors. it seems though after a decent year in the AHL, after one more year he should be ready for a top 6 role on an NHL roster
thats my take.

For starters Hamonic is not a number 1 defenseman hes not even close. Secondly if thats the only criteria you use to evaluate players and trade value you have a lot to learn.
#1 he has a career Average of ,75 points a game
#2 His face off numbers are off the charts
#3 he has fantastic corsi rating
#4 Supply/Demand- He is in high demand and there is little supply a quality center like this. if you think one bad year, on a terrible team mind you, is enough to completely destroy his value... you are moron.
