Anaheim accepts, but if I were the Ducks GM, I'd add the Minnesota third.

Los Angeles has a surplus of RhDs, so Merkley wouldn't be of much interest. Even simply swapping Walker for him is unlikely despite the cap benefit it would give the Kings. And the idea that we'd trade a perfectly good right-handed bottom-6 forward for him under team control for several more years who is just coming off his ELC is utterly unrealistic.

No need to give up that first for Rico. Be nice to have him but it's an overpay.

For Anaheim to eat 50% i think you do. We also have no other picks of value. Kinda stuck with the 1sts

That's fair. I just look at LA with 2 guys ready to jump in to the NHL in Clarke and Spence, and think LA will move a defenseman out. So i figured throwing back a AHL defenseman would be kinda what they would be looking for. But a straight merkly for walker is fine by me
