Spurgeon for 1 year of Marner. Take it or leave it.

Yep, that’s the quantity for Rossi trade I could see Minnesota pulling the trigger on. Doubt Philly would offer that.

Yeah, there’s no shot on those pieces. They don’t make sense to trade for Marner.

What does this even mean? I’d trade Spurgeon for one year of Marner.

The difference in value between Rossi and Knies is minimal. Not a 2nd round pick.

Having one 1st and one 2nd round pick the next three drafts is a recipe for disaster. Paid way too much for Swayman when we have Wallstedt. I’d rather keep Ohgren and not have the Columbus players. The other trades are whatever.

That’s a definite no for Minnesota. Nelson isn’t worth and is too old to return a top 15 1st round pick.

He’s also definitely not the best contract in the league, makar is by far</div></div>
Ek’s contract is around half of Makar’s while being an extremely solid 2-Way 1st line center. Give him a year with Kap and Boldy and he will be top 15.
Definitely not trading him for the quantity of pieces offered in this proposal. If he is traded, which he won’t be, it would be for a guy that other team’s wouldn’t offer (Cooley).

Minnesota would not do that trade. Middleton is currently playing top 4 and trading him for a 4th line center would be unwise.

Back to the Playoffs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Viqsi</b></div><div>That's getting into "don't be absurd" territory for the Jackets. Marchenko's been amazing and we'd much rather keep him, and Jiricek is can't-afford-to-lose. Rossi would be a nice add, but, well, we've got a lot of good young centers as is; he'd be better than several of them, but it's not worth giving up those guys to get him. Meanwhile, Lambos plays on the wrong side and the pick is not helpful.</div></div>
The pick is the most valuable piece coming from Minnesota. Curious how a top 10 pick is not helpful. Are expectations that CBJ will make the playoffs next year?
I’m curious on Jiricek. He seems to be unhappy with how things are going. I totally understand not wanting to trade him, but I think there is some level of discontent. We might have to swing back around if he ever wants out.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CoolHandL</b></div><div>Did you mean to put Zucc on the 4th line? Makes no sense for a player like him to get only eight minutes a night. As much as I do think Ohgren eventually ends up in the middle six, he might be one of those prospects that would be fine at least next season to get bottom six minutes when he’s in the league and then send him to Iowa as necessary.
I actually like the idea on the Gus trade a lot (NJ maybe adds a 5th round kicker, too) and then flipping that with Rossi for two guys who could be big pieces. Bravo</div></div>
Most of Zucc’s points come on the power play. He’d get top pp minutes, but substantially less even strength time. I believe Russo said that Zucc had 7 points for the entire year when Kaprizov was not on the ice with him. You could flip him and Johansson if necessary.

We have been drafting Russians to try and keep him happy. He was jacked to have Khusnutdinov here and he's probably nothing more than a 3C. Yurov is a guy that could be playing 1C next to him.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Joblow</b></div><div>There nothing unreasonable about asking for Boldy. Why is that so hard to understand. Habs ask for Boldy. Guerin doesn’t have to trade him but if he absolutely want Guhle that will be the cost. It a pretty simple concept to understand. That why good players are not often traded. No one want to part ways with them but when it’s the case team have to pay the hard price. Again it’s a pretty easy concept to understand.</div></div>
Hey kiddo, I'm still waiting on you to show those defensive statistics that have Guhle in the top 50 of defensemen you said you have.
