After the draft

I’m not a value expert more of a “on paper type deal” might be a 3rd might be a mid Val prospect. Markstrom deal set the market, do with that what you will.

Trouba is a good captain and he'll bounce back when he's not playing on a broken ankle, and Kakko shouldn't be sold now at his absolute floor.</div></div>
I agree with all that. Twitter makes both of them look a lot worse than they are and I think their market values are hurting because of it.
I like kapo and would love to see him in det for a year before becoming an rfa. Check out my latest ACGM I have a very similar trade but you guys get a 6th 5th or 4th in return.

I genuinely think you’d have to pay to move trouba at this point. Even with money retained.

I think al jo will be 7d scratch in the start of the season after camp. I think it would be bad to throw him to the wolves with an uncertain (at this point) RD partner.
As for the trades - all just garbage. Mostly did this one to make fun of ranger fans who think trouba is worth anything with his price tag

I’d give another second to rid them from this roster. Most fans would, but we are just fans and GMs will do whatever they do.

Did not see that extension. If that’s the case I’d probably take out the Berger bandit and keep the rest.

Agreed. I think with Olli and petry expiring next year it’ll give us some more room. I’m also nervous to make a huge splash at D with the prospects we have maturing. Al jo and ASP, will need a spot in a year.

I agree, but I think with the matchups he played this year Steve is gonna pull stats and analytics on him and Claude is going to have mo sign a bridge to bet on him self. He realistically should be around ~$9+ but I bet SY won’t give him more than Larkin yet.

Make it make sense steve
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LuckyMoneyPuck</b></div><div>your high if you think Jarry brings back a 7th.
He's worth a 2nd. Maybe a 2nd and a player coming back for cap reasons as long as it's a useful one.
If it's a cap dump like Husso there, he's worth a 1st because no one wants 4+ million in bad cap or any portion of it.
PIT doesn't need to trade Jarry. Trading him doesn't really do a whole lot for their cap structure. The lack of FA available of any real value isn't helping either.
If they move him, it's to open space for Blom. But they don't have to do that.
So if you want a team to help out your cap, and give you a goalie, you are going to pay.</div></div>
PIT probably should trad jarry. I think that’s a reasonable trade especially with the retained money. Left d prospect, serviceable winger, cheaper goalie and a fair pick.
If you want a second you aren’t getting anything retained and probably a lower tier prospect.

I’m still not sure what happened with walman. Was a very solid player until he had a weird “sickness” for last few games. Not sure to expect from that. I think Utah might have interest just for cap floor reasons.

Mo and Razor are getting paid more than that unless they do a bridge.
Guenztel is probably going to get PAID
I don’t believe Gibson is as big of an upgrade as people are making it seem. A lot of red wings fans really want him but I’d almost rather let husso expire.

I don’t like this. Would rather let husso expire and have average tending for the next year and not try to pay to move him.
