jarrys value plummeted with the ullmark trade, you guys might be able to get him for a 7th and a seasons worth of box seats for noted lions fan kyle dubas (i think hes a lions fan he seemed quite invested in their playoff run)

and if it cost a 2nd to give up walman, its gonna take more than a 2nd and a 4th to give up holl

your high if you think Jarry brings back a 7th.
He's worth a 2nd. Maybe a 2nd and a player coming back for cap reasons as long as it's a useful one.
If it's a cap dump like Husso there, he's worth a 1st because no one wants 4+ million in bad cap or any portion of it.

PIT doesn't need to trade Jarry. Trading him doesn't really do a whole lot for their cap structure. The lack of FA available of any real value isn't helping either.
If they move him, it's to open space for Blom. But they don't have to do that.
So if you want a team to help out your cap, and give you a goalie, you are going to pay.

I’m still not sure what happened with walman. Was a very solid player until he had a weird “sickness” for last few games. Not sure to expect from that. I think Utah might have interest just for cap floor reasons.

PIT probably should trad jarry. I think that’s a reasonable trade especially with the retained money. Left d prospect, serviceable winger, cheaper goalie and a fair pick.

If you want a second you aren’t getting anything retained and probably a lower tier prospect.

No thanks. I'd rather just get some picks for Jarry,

I think you are confused about the part where Husso has no value.
The penguins would be taking that to help you, and you have to pay for that to happen.
Jarry for a 2nd is where I am at on him. No cap dumps coming back, and PIT is not retaining.
That's fair value. The market is there.
If people can't handle that, oh well. PIT doesn't need to move him.
It's roughly a 50/50 at this point if they do. He might be more likely to be moved next year after a second year of Blom in WBS.
