He might be a cap dump for the canes but I think he would still be serviceable especially for a rebuilding hawks team. He's still young.

On the trade rumor website this is what they came up with.
I think necas fits the ducks mold but not at that trade value.

No bad.
Probably should've traded girard to compensate for nukes cap hit.
Cause even if you stuff him in minors he's gonna cost 5 million against the cap.

The girard fetches 2nd and 3rd.

Game 6 was the mistake but the avs gave up mid 3rd and it was matter of time before dallas scored.
Dallas dominated 1st OT. Avs were gifted with that no goal call. That was horrible but of course I'll take it lol.

Lol wow. Bednar had since the beginning of the season to scheme the team. This team is a juggernaut offensively and play minimal defense. That's there motto.

They can stuff him in minors and someone can pick him up or if they don't then keep him there until a trade partner comes about.

Take out manson and make the 2nd rd pick into a 24 1st rd and that's a fair deal.

You guys just need a top-6 winger mainly, and perhaps some upgrades on defense. Hopefully, Landeskog's career isn't over and he can come back (and be productive), although I expect the worst. If Nuke can get well that would be good as well, although I feel like a split will be coming once he's out of the program.</div></div>
This team has been ****ed since the cup win.

Idk but this ****in team dropped the ball hard. 3 straight home losses.
I feel bad for georgiev. Dude played his heart since game q of the jets and team left him out to dry.

I agree they might just stick him in the OHL for next year so they figure out the landy and nuke situation

That works in the OHL, but he'll need to get prepared somehow for a much more physical style to center an NHL second line. My worry, though, is he won't get that in another year of OHL where he's already able to play to his comfort level. Maybe he gets that thrown into the 3C role with the Avs, but the style needed for 3C is different than that of 2C, so I don't know if he gets developed real well in the NHL without a little more seasoning. Just IMO, I wish we could get him one year at the AHL next year, then move him up.</div></div>
3rd line center with colton wing and wood on other. From what I've read he wants to be like Patrice Bergeron and I think him working on his defensive structure and physicality on 3rd line will help develop into that player.

Where a team like FL, has Bob in net. You add that to a franchise player and DAL will find an uphill battle.</div></div>
Avs lack defensive structure. Their a high octane offense.

But yeah, drafting is most likely way.
Sometimes you just get lucky. Other times like McDavid or Crosby you know at draft.
Either way, you either build a perfect team with no holes, or you get one.
Right now DAL is the closest example of a team without one that might have a chance at winning. But we'll see. I think they will have a hard time with FL as I think FL comes from the East.</div></div>
Idk avs could comeback and win the series. Whatever happens there offseason is effed due nuke distraction and landeskog injury. It's gonna be really interesting who resign and and who doesn't. I know Mittlestadt will be the first priority

Yes they are. This offseason is gonna be a big shake up. 2 back to back playoffs with disappointment. You got freaking landeskog uncertainty of his injury. Dude needs retire. He's not the same. Nuke is such a distraction he will be gone at TDL.
Rantenen will be gone to bring back max value and to load better middle six players.
