Game 4
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jfkst1</b></div><div>What precisely has Brindamour won as a coach?</div></div>
As a coach he has won nothing but as a player he has. You would think he would implement that into his players.

Game 4
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jfkst1</b></div><div>That is always how they play. Tons of shot volume especially from the point. Low skill high effort. Like how Brindamour played the game. Win every puck battle and lose every skill game.</div></div>
In the playoff you need to shoot from everywhere. All it takes is a bounce just like how panarin deflected it in.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Fox_Czar_Cup</b></div><div>Yikes, Rod is not the problem. NYR shots are from 20ft avg & CAR 30ft out. It's almost impossible to get to the inside on us, all year long, steadily. NYR are usually winning and tend to retract and let teams play on the outside. Will certainly be a tough out for any team!</div></div>
Rod is the problem. 0/15 on the PP with no adjustments.
Plus shesterkin is the reason rangers are winning. Literally getting peppered.

And special teams has been atrocious for CAR. I'd buy Rod the Bod a Burger King crown and write "Regular Season Bench Press Champ" on it and tell him to get lost. It's stale at this point.</div></div>
It's pretty crazy he has a stacked team and can't get them over the hump yet. I mean rod knows what it takes to win.
Look at avs. 3 consecutive 2nd rd exited before finally winning. I think rod should get one more shot. But I think thus offseason there gonna retool the roster.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ArakinSkywalker</b></div><div>i think it makes more sense for colorado to keep o'connor as a rental next year for how good he was playing this year. Plus behrens won't be nhl ready for a while hopefully malinski can play the full season but that still leaves weaker puck movers on line 2. I think it makes more sense to move girard the following year and keep him this year.</div></div>
I'm only basing this if landeskog plays. His injury is basically hindering the financial and future wise. Cause like I said. Avs are screwed if he ends up on LTIR cause then they miss out on some signed players.

I like crook to lol. From the games I watched him play. LOC is due for an extension so I think he would be expendable considering landeskog is trying to come back next season and if he does they gonna be in cap crunch. I could see 3-4 players moved just to compensate landeskog cap.

Ferraro andwalker
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LimeyBarsteward</b></div><div>Interesting ideas. I would have to see more out of Walker before having him replace Sammy G. It was interesting seeing him W play on the 2nd pairing last night and Sammy on the 3rd. It didn’t go badly. I just need to see more. Also I think Walker will be a darling in FA and get over paid because so many teams are looking for what he brings. Ie he will get more than Sammy making this train of thought less appealing.
I don’t think LOC gets that type of return and if he doesn’t then I’d keep him. Personally I think the 3rd pair will be cheap next year… at least until the deadline.</div></div>
Personally I think walker is gonna walk but I would rather trade sammy G for ferraro. The dude is like tanev. I would assume malinski makes full time jump. I can see them bringing jones back as 7th dmen.
I see behrens starting in AHL and then gradually making his way.

I'm betting Celebrini heads back to college for another year while the Sharks tank (no pun intended) again and land another top 5 pick next year. Realistically, the Sharks are at least 26/27 until they can consider a run. Maybe more competitive in 25/26 but likely still a bottom 5 or 6 team.</div></div>
Hawks ain't contending until 26/27.
They have alot holes in there lineup. Kurashev and bedard are the only offense they have. I do feel Hawks can make playoff push like the flyers did if they add key free agents
I'll a hawk roster

Good question
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NHLfan10506</b></div><div>Scott Wheeler earlier tonight:
“What does this mean for Macklin Celebrini’s college decision?
I wrote before the lottery that I believed the results could influence Macklin Celebrini’s college decision. He has said publicly that he’s not opposed to going back, and has suggested privately that he’s considering it. It being San Jose makes it a particularly interesting and layered decision. They’re a long way away, maybe the furthest of the bunch. Next season is quite likely going to be another ugly one for them on the ice. Does that make a return to Boston University more likely? I’d think yes.
There are pulls in that direction, too. He’s a late birthday. His close friend Cole Eiserman is going to be a Terrier next season. Nobody has ever won back-to-back Hobey Baker Awards. He could chase that World Junior gold in Ottawa (I know Hockey Canada hasn’t ruled having him out). There’s a lot to consider and now less of a rush to jump into the NHL, I’d think. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t sign, but the case to return is likely more compelling now.“</div></div>
Yeah I figured that. Thanks for the article.

Sharks def have enough cap space to at least get 2 middle six players to be competitive.
The defense isn't that bad looking but that 4th line is atrocious. 2nd line could be deadly if logan stays healthy

Big offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RationalHockeyFan</b></div><div>I'm curious to know what you'd change to make the Jets better next year. Who would you let go / trade away? What roles would you bring in?
Personally, I would try to sign DeMelo as the first priority, maybe Monahan too. I'd Bring Lambert up to play 2RW, shift Fetts over to 2LW, and trade Ehlers for a 2RD.
If the Jets can't get a 2RD for Ehlers, then I'd just keep him tbh. All the other positions can't really be improved and it wouldn't be worth shipping Ehlers for scraps.</div></div>
Idk I'm not a jets fam but what I do know is you don't keep running the same team expecting to do deep.
Look at the avs since 2017. They literally have there core and switch up players every offseason. To be honest they should've won a cup in 2021 but they choked hard against the jets
