You guys gave us a 1st and 4th for an older, less points in more games, more expensive rental Foligno. But now your GM is worse

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>evelutions2</b></div><div>Please tell me how Jenner is better. Offensively, his best season is 6 points higher than KK’s, and that came back in 2015-16. Defensively, KK has been elite, and Jenner has also been pretty good, so not much difference there. Aside from that, Jenner is on the wrong side of 30, and is several years older, and has peaked several years ago. KK still has room to grow offensively and is signed for long term, unlike Jenner who only has 2 years of term remaining after this one. Jenner is a strong leader, but I highly doubt that his leadership qualities are worth swapping a near equal player several years his junior, and adding a 1st and 3rd on top.</div></div>
Well I'm not sure how CF's scouting goes, but he's listed as quite better than KK. So there's that I guess. Boone's best season production rate wise was just 2 years ago. Including this season, the past 3 he's been on a 30 goal pace, Boone plays 6 more minutes per game here but on a much worse team. He has sustained some injuries as he is a netfront guy, and playing top 6 minutes here. Boone's on a much better contract for his production value. He shouldn't be a top line guy, but has been on the downtrodden Jackets. While his conventional metrics are mid, his finishing is very high. On top of better faceoff% than KK, he plays well at wing too, and can go netfront instead of the center to protect from injury risk and such by getting hit by shots, just as what injured him this year. He would be a perfect 2-3C on a contending team. Not much responsibility, but a high finishing rate and good FO% if needed, and being a cheap non rental.

Boone Jenner is the most overrated player right now
cheap center good at faceoffs that plays better at wing, scores at 30 goal pace if in top 6, great at netfront goals/deflections, beloved "leadership" trait, and not a rental.
An older, more expensive, worse, rental Foligno got a 1st and a 4th. In a less cap struck time as well.

Jarmo is delusional thinking he can get a playoff roster every year, and even in a year that's been admitted to be over with, they aren't playing the youth. Ownership is nowhere to be heard of, and the coach keeps recycling the same garbage open ended statements. And they just lied about Laine.
Players don't want to leave Columbus, they want to leave this management.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mr_Gardoki</b></div><div>If he gets moved there will definitely be an overpay, but it won't be huge. You guys can't compare this to Foligno. Different time and market entirely.</div></div>
that's the thing though. Jenner is cheaper in cap stricken time, younger, not a rental, and slightly better producing than foligno at that time. And he's a center if he has to, good at faceoffs. But plays better at wing

i wouldn't mind tbh. only for 1.5 years and he's a goofy guy, may feel better/thrive again with our russians. If not, we can flip him/let him go. Boqvist value only getting smaller and smaller as time goes on

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mr_Gardoki</b></div><div>First off, scrap the attitude. I did a perfectly fine disclaimer in the description WHICH YOU CLEARLY DIDN'T READ.
Second, just be happy anyone is even talking about the Jackets. They are one of the worst run teams in hockey and probably won't be a playoff team for another decade.
Third, that offer is absolutely absurd.
While I concede for the Jackets to move him would take a SLIGHT overpay, it would be slight. That return your showing is for an elite player, so stop it.</div></div>
"worst run teams in hockey" coming from the only professional sports team to be bankrupt twice lol
realistic trade value, contending late 1st, mid round pick and mid prospect, or mid round pick and high prospect. Like a slightly cheaper return than Giroux got

i wouldn't be surprised if it's just one long plead nonguilty get off free but blacklisting. No jail time without physical proof unfortunately. Money talks, or in this case, silences.

Team Canada Scandal
Also to mention the anonymous 6th person who was called down to the room, stayed for 10 minutes then left. Wonder if they'll ever be named. From originally 8 to now 5, this may be another Blackhawks situation of a lot of people knowing and no one doing anything, All names involved will be forever tainted, some more than others.
Wouldn't be surprised if the NHL doesn't do anything considering it's the IIHF games and their leniency to other crimes (Heatley), stubborn finger pointing to the rulebook (Kuznetsov), and lack of care but silent blacklisting to cases that don't directly involve issues on NHL property (Leipsic, M. Miller).

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>A_Habs_fan</b></div><div>Considering how Mitchell Miller is not in the league and Boston immediately regretted signing him, I think the public outcry would be too big for the league to allow the players to play. (also some if not all of the name would likely get some sort of jail time for sexual assault)</div></div>
i mean there's already enough outcry for the Coyotes' stripping of picks for breaking draft workout rules vs no punishment for Chicago leading to Bedard. Forever tainted but the league doesn't seem to care about old cases vs current ones
