His agent said he may ask for one as a means to try and negotiate a better deal. GM said yesterday he has not actually requested one

Pinto's agent basically said his client is willing accept offer sheets to get a deal done.

If the offer sheet is less than $6M, expect the Senators to match.

If the offer sheet is $6 - 6,5M expect the Senators to contemplate depending on the term involved, but would likely match.

If the offer sheet is above $6.5M, the Senators will probably take the 1rst and 3rd round pick, barring away to move Norris for anything.
