Good signing but what’s nuts is he’ll be 38 at the end of the contract. Man time flies

All the Necas to NSH proposals too, thank Trotz.

Nope. How about Necas for Askarov and Evangelista? I assume Evangelista's upside is lower than Necas's, but if I'm undervaluing him maybe Carolina throws in a pick or a prospect to even it out.

Sorry, I forgot about all the dead cap they have. They don't have enough cap space for Necas now. I wonder how many of the guys they signed today they'll be buying out before the end of their contracts.

74 is his jersey number so he's getting 7.74 million.

I get that you're just looking to troll, but even before today's shopping spree, I wouldn't have been interested in NSH trading either of those guys in a one-for-one deal for Necas. Evangelista absolutely has equal or better upside, with youth, no daddy issues, and not needing a giant payday this summer on his side.

Who would vote no here? This is the best signing today. Reinhart is #2 and Tanev is #3 (jk...tanev was the stupidest signing I've ever seen)

I'm in the minority here... but this contract takes him from age 30 to 38. That's too much of a risk.

If we win the Stanley Cup, I don't care if this turns out to be a bad contract, but I have a feeling this contract won't look good in +4 years.

I hope he proves me wrong.
