Between This, Foligno and Treinin, This team is overpaying a lot

Also D-Men are getting huge overpays (Skjei, Carrier, Roy, Edmunson, Tanev, Dumba, Lyubushkin, Cole, OEL, Middleton) Spend wisely GM's

Yeah I like Guerin and everything but unless he has some magic potion to turn these guys into winners this is the re run city tour like will this roster ever make the conference finals even? I just don't get why he brought back like the entire team at term and they've never even done anything

This is a good contract, Middleton doesn’t put up many points but he’s a very solid Defenceman

Guerin basicly re-sign every guy year before contract end. I would understand it if team is Stanley Cup winter or contendor, but this team isnt even playoff team anymore. Team getting older and slower, when other teams adding speed. Sad to see it, when still following and cheering Wild.

I would like to point out Middleton led the Wild’s defence in hits (148) and blocked shots (161) last year. He was also playing 20mins a night with some PK responsibilities, he’s not the type of Defenceman who puts up points, he’s the type of D used to compliment one (His usual D-partner the last couple years has been Jared Spurgeon but since he only played 16 games, he played a lot with Brock Faber this year)

That doesn't make him a 5M dollar defensemen

He’s not a 5mil dman, he’s getting paid 4.35 which is pretty fair for someone who’s going to play on the 2nd pair when compared to the AAV of some of the other 2nd pair Dmen
