Dvorak (50% retained) + the 1st is the core of the deal. What more would you be looking for?

sens aren't looking for 3rd liners and late picks. I know its a hard concept for lots of habs fans to process since I've seen them offering this for every good player. I know its really hard but try to use some critical thinking skills.

Why would the sens trade pinto when he was looking so good at 2c last year(not to mention his defensive capabilities) for a 28 year old 3rd liner 1 year from ufa and a late 1st

Because he wants out of your organization. Habs are bargain bin shopping for the moment, so those are the type of assets we have to offer. If there are teams that will offer closer to fair value for Pinto, they're probably better fits, but idk who they are.

Maybe Winnipeg if a McGroarty for Pinto swap works. Closest thing to McGroarty in the Habs system would be Mailloux, but he's not an ideal trade piece given the history.

pinto has no trade protection. sens can trade him where ever they want. no reason to take the habs trash. please go and try to get someone else to take your trash and late 1sts for their good players

That'd work for Columbus. I'd lean towards Tuch or Heineman as the prospect.
