That term on Tanev and Edmundson is brutal, I'd rather just spend that $5.5 on Zadorov atp.

It gets the AAV down and the Leafs can then send them to Robidas Island at the tail end of contracts, with the Cap going up every year, nothing to worry about now

I think rolling with Lybushkin + Zadorov + Timmins is better future-proofing, which you need if you're trading Marner. I understand planning for LTIRetirement if you're trying to win it all this year, but trading Marner is a fundamentally future-facing move.

Timmins is terrible... id rather go with Niemala if they want to try something different... Marner might go no where he controls everything, but a move that brings a productive winger, picks to build our system and a reunited Tanev brothers will get wild... it would be a difficult team to play against overall and Merzlikins would be the #1 goalie... good D should help him elevate his game as Woll is glass
