I would absolutely love Laine as a Stamkos replacement

my mind instantly jumped to him because we could easily maneuver it as long as JBB makes room to free cap. a younger, faster, pure shooter on that first line of already deadly playmakers would almost be better than Stamkos on paper

Don't think CBJ can accommodate Cernak, even though he's a good player. We've already got Jiricek, Gudbranson, and Severson written in permanent marker for this year's right-side D, and Severson's got just as long a deal as Cernak from here on. I'd love to get Howard, but I don't see this working.
