Based on the trades we've seen recently, you have the 2nd round picks on the wrong side of the Cernak and Jeannot deals, especially the Jeannot one. Jeannot costs at least a 3rd round pick to get rid of after the Walman trade.

It's messed up what's happened with these salary dump trades. Cernak is good, but I'm not sure Tampa could get that good of a pick for him with the term on that deal. 6 more years at 5.2 for a 28 year old dman who isn't an amazing skater, knowing the Lightning need to shed his salary to make other moves, I think its more likely to be a combination of mid round picks than a 2nd round pick.

Bolts might be in on Guentzel but that does not mean Hawks would be in on Jeannot, especially for a 2nd round pick.

Easy decline for Chicago. Just because Tampa was dumb enough to overpay for him doesn't mean Chicago will as well.

One that was released way to early that needed an emergency patch to fix a franchise mode trade engine bug.

So spend all available cap space on Guentzel, leaving an average at best bottom 6 and a right side of the blue line that's barely above AHL caliber. What could possibly go wrong with this?
