You're probably right, but every TDL there's at least one deal where I can do nothing but scratch my head and wonder why GMs get paid what they do to make short-sighted decisions that make some of these ACGM proposals look genius in comparison.

He traded a 2024 7th for a character player with experience on deep playoff runs that he flipped at the deadline for a 2026 6th. Oh man, fold the franchise immediately with moves like that. lol

He took a roster that had 103 points and made it worse. Hartman and Folino contracts are horrible. Maroon sucked.

And they paid basically nothing to acquire Maroon and got something worth slightly more than nothing back. I'm not sure why you're fixated on the Maroon trade as evidence of anything when the Foligno extension is the dumbest thing Guerin has done and even that doesn't put him anywhere near being the "worst GM in the league" as you've claimed. Hartman's extension is fine, he's 29 and can play up and down the lineup for $4m until he's 32. That's not a horrible contract.
