honestly only saw all the Trouba hate come playoff time just curious why

It's more the fact that Schneider has overtaken his place (foot speed) etc. No one is questioning Trouba's leadership or on ice defensive ability (hitting, blocking shots - as I still think he is elite in that regard, offensive ability absolutelty - he has been pretty brutal), however, you don't pay 8 million dollars to a third pair defenseman. If Trouba was at 4-5 million this wouldn't even be a conversation.

I do like the Kane deal as well as Schneider and Lindgren. Not crazy on the Clutterbuck deal. We already have Rempe and Cuylle, so don't see the need to sign him. The Johnson deal isn't bad either. Good job though.
