I think that deal heavily favours the Leafs. I think if a Marner deal was going to happen, Pulock is much more likely to go back, not Dobson

Replace Pulock with Dobson and either scarp or adjust a Palmieri trade and you might be onto something. A top six of Barzal - Horvat - Palmieri / Lee - Nelson - Marner would be the best the Islanders have had in a loooong time.

It would also make the isles a much worse team. Isles have no one on defense that can generate offense without Dobson
