They took the latest one on for free, so this seems like a very generous offer in comparison. I doubt they'll need the cap space over that time period.

Anderson costs more to dump but it also doesn’t make sense for Montreal to dump him when they don’t need the cap space right now

I would pay this much to have him gone if a team were willing to take him, but no more. It clears space for other players, and the Habs could definitely use the cap space next year and the year after when the Slafkovsky, Guhle, and Dach extensions are due. I figured he would cost at least a first to dump, but then San Jose took on Goodrow for free, and I don't think Anderson should cost that much more to dump than Goodrow.

said absolutely everyone about Mike Hoffman
How much did that cost MTL again , remind me.
Thats right , we got paid to move him out lol
It was basically a delayed 4 team trade to do it
But Hughes did it , cause Hughes is Hughes and thats his style.
I dont ever remember him taking a loss on a trade TBH

Upside to being a Player Agent for years is he has relationships with most of the NHL's GM's alreaedy.
I mean going after his ex client in a buy low situation allowing you to move Petry, Who else is gonna be that Sly?

Pre Kent Hughes i'd 100% back your statement without a second though
But after getting paid to Dump Petry and Hoffman i got faith

Anderson at his full cap hit should cost at least a 1st or equivalent to dump.

Although if you put him on waivers I’m sure dodo brain Grier would claim him for free.
