Sens accept of course, but again it comes down to Ullmark to be willing to waive + extend.

I’d rather offer CBJ Ullmark and keep Lysell, Geekie, and the 4th round pick. I also believe Laine at 8M is still a negative asset. They have to get down to 6.5M to 7M before you start talking about this value

Geekie is more important to the bruins than Laine.

I don't think CBJ would be interested in Ullmark. He's 30 and due a huge raise. How does that help a team that's still 2-3 years from competing?

I also don't think Columbus will have any issue retaining up to $2M, Laine's probably a $6-7M player. Anything beyond that, though, would be additional cost IMO.

I don’t believe they are that far away and Waddell has been interested in Ullmark. There is absolutely zero reason to have faith in Elvis. Statistically, he has been one of the biggest reasons for the failure of that franchise to improve despite good young talent.

Elvis is for sure gone. That's either a buyout or a lateral move with another bad contract. Tarasov and Greaves, plus a veteran backup, would be the tandem/rotation. I'm not going to be convinced that this team is less than 2 years away, and the goalie/timeline situation in Carolina and Columbus are different enough that I'd hope Waddell wouldn't pay significant assets for Ullmark. But if he did...I guess I wouldn't be mad.

I'm not going to pretend I've watched every columbus game over the past couple years, but Laine had built up a well deserved reputation of a guy that took nights off, coasted, and cared little for defensive play. is that still the case?

I'm pretty mystified why people think he's a fit in boston. that kinda stuff doesn't fly there.
