Every team that isn't Toronto declines these. Ottawa is getting robbed and the other three teams aren't paying for Toronto's garbage.

Taxes are too high. People are stuck up and not friendly. No entertainment. Housing prices are ridiculous. If you are not Bi lingual you get shunned by half the population. (even worse than if you visit Quebec). Transportation is a total nightmare because it sprawls out so far for no good reason.

Taxes are the same as in Toronto. Housing prices are much better than Toronto. People are quite friendly, at least if you aren't a jerk to them (which based on your posts, might be a you problem). I can walk around at night and not fear for my life. As for having to be bilingual, most of my family is anglophone and living in the French part of Ottawa and still feel quite welcomed. In fact, most places default to English.

Oh, and yeah, the LRT is a nightmare, but it pales in comparison to the traffic nightmare that is Toronto traffic.

Edit to add: you might think taxes are higher in Ottawa because we actually are being good citizens and paying them, unlike the fearless leader of the Leafs

Why are you mentioning TO? What does that have to do with the conversation? Do you think im from there? Im not. That means nothing to me.
Im just telling you about my personal experience and the experience of anyone I have ever spoken too about OTT.
If you are an OTT homer and decide to defend the city for no apparent reason as if it has some kind of conscious value, you go for it.
Its not going to get upset if you tell the truth though lol
