Unfortunately for you Jackets fans, this is far from enough to Sakic accept a trade for Duchene.

Not that Duchene deserves as much as Sakic thinks, of course.

With Duchene coming out and saying this, it puts Sakic in a tough spot. Sakic is walking a thin line here.

Those in the know seem to think the framework is settled, just waiting on the CLB RFAs salaries to determine small details like retained salary or possible additional pieces. I'm hoping for Carlsson & Milano.

I thought sakic but himself in a tough spot but "announcing" that duchene was sale at the TDL. he had to follow through certainly before training camp. what a mess the avs are. seemingly good players that aren't performing, and now it's not an attractive place where players want to go.

What is your source? I haven't seen/heard that anywhere
