The hype train for guys like Xhekaj and Rempe are out of control on fan sites haha. Good 3rd pairing LD, sure. Super expensive to acquire if Montreal were open to moving him due to depth... not likely.

Then tell NHL GMs to stop asking our GM about him. For a player that people on this site say isn't valuable we keep getting told that multiple GMs ask about him all the time. It would take a severe overpayment to get him at this point and this doesn't come close

Would you do it for just the player and pick? Kaliyev's stock might be low now, but there is a player there. Let him loose, and I can easily see him hitting 20G this season

I’m honestly not sure of Xhekaj value. But I wouldn’t offer him for Kaliyev, I’d just offer a mid round pick for him

I think Montreal would be interested, but probably not THAT interested. The lack of footspeed is concerning (and something Montreal's management cares about), and the reality is that there are a lot of young wingers out there.
