You really think the Blues will let all those top defensemen fall past them to draft another winger in Chernyshov? I can't see it...I do like your 2nd rounders for them..I'm higher on Mustard than a lot of people and Skahan at 56 would be a good pick but with 4 top defensemen to pick from (which I don't see happening either) I can't see them taking Chernyshov at 16 he's not THAT good....

This is actually NOT a mock, just rankings! But I agree with all your points, Blues are 100% taking a D, at least 3 in the first two rounds.

Those are really good comps, but I normally tend to stick with current NHLers, unless I can't think of anyone. Example: Max Plante

He's CRIMINALLY underrated. No flaws in his game apart from using his size. And yeah he's basically Brad Marchand.

Part of me thinks you are actually Stiga... Ive never seen someone so high on a 25-42 talent in my life.

In your opinio rank these players if you dont mind... just interested in who you rank where bc ive struggled with this myself

A) Smith (will)
B)Michkov
C) Celebrini
D) Leonard
E) Carlsson

EDIT: With Stiga there are absolutely zero holes in his game apart from his size, which shouldn't matter anymore given the success of Caufield, DeBrincat, and Benson. The reason why Stiga is so low is because he wasn't heavily scouted until the U18s were over. Outside Hagens, Stiga was USA's best player. I even love his defensive game and skating, two things I value a lot while ranking players. Size is the thing I value the least.

I could see a team reaching for team, like the Blues or the Maple Leafs.

It will actually come very soon, possibly Sunday. I am doing two versions: 1 no trade mock and 1 mock with trades.

love that you deviate from a lot of public consensus. that's how a hockey nerd ranks. we all know the public consensus of who should where will look terrible as it ages. kudos to Stiga ranked 6th, Yakemchuk ranked 20th, and Beaudoin ranked 52nd. Don't be afraid to call your shot!

Thank you. I don't really pay attention to any insiders except Corey Pronman after he was the only one that had Wright going to Seattle before draft day.

how many games are you able to watch for each prospect? or do you watch highlights? curious what your process is.

I'm scouting right now too and watch each guy play at least one game. (i'm prob through about 30 prospects rn). My rankings vary differently than Pronman's or wheeler's and i love that.
