Description
I will be very open and say I looked into none of the players statistics, age, previous season points, or anything else that was not provided on this page as I created this. That being said I will try and explain what I can here.

Ully and Peeke trade: As much as I want to see Peeke and Ully as Bruins, we need center help. We do not need 2 #1 goalies, Anaheim needs a goalie and a good defenseman. They have no trouble scoring goals, they need to prevent them, we need a center that has a 1C potential this season, Coyle kind of has it but Zegras may have the speed needed.

The other 2 trades, we NEED picks. I chose San Jose and Seattle for decent picks and getting rid of some roster space that we can fill elsewhere IF needed. I did not put much thought into these trades, just kind of a last minute thing so I can wrap this up.

The signings are so we actually have a AHL roster, and we have 2 prospects that need to be signed in I believe July and August this year, I assume the Bruins give the chance so I gave them league minimums (again, I know nothing about them, may be worth more) Other resigning's I either kept them the same or slightly upped them based off of little things I hear on podcasts and stuff, just what I could remember.

I think Anaheim considers the deal. IF Bruins wanted to adjust it I could easily see that, I am somewhat new to contracts and trades, only really watched hockey until recently I have gotten more into this side of things. the other trades, doubtful, probably don't even make the attempt, but I would love to see more picks in early rounds for us.

I think this gives us a solid team during a rebuild year, and keeps us somewhat competitive. I also brought DiPietro up instead of Bussi because of how this season went, Bussi killed it in camp and the beginning of the season but my understanding is DiPietro got the starting position for the last half.

Shoot, I totally forgot about him. He could use the guidance of a veteran with a vezina who is in his prime. Watching someone like that instead of Gibson could have some upside. Even if it is just for the one year left on Ullmark's contract.

Ayy man Ullmark is a complete stud so you never know. I'm sure a third of the league is going to make an offer on him at least lol

Welcome to CapFriendly! cheers Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

Los Angeles is the SoCal team that needs a goalie, not Anaheim, as my friend @StutzlesNumber1Fan has said.

I'm fairly certain there was a rumor this year of a trade to LA that Ullmark denied, otherwise LA has some pieces we could use as well.

Positive you're correct. I believe Boston was going to get PLD for Ullmark but Ullmark veto'd it~

I think he did say no to LA and in the same thing said he wanted to stay on the East Coast for shorter flight times back home

And a year of a goalie we don't have room for and a 3rd pairing D worth a late round pick is worth Trevor Zegras in your opinion?

why do people rationalize they're proposals by saying oh I didn't look into stats/no time to think on it. Like dude you decided to post it. At least stand by it instead of using lame excuses. Are you basically saying you are stupid.

patrick brown is garbage 32 year old 4th liner with 25 points in 150 games. he was so garbage he only played 11 games for the bruins last year.
jaxon nelson is a nothing special prospect. how the **** are those 2 going to get you the 14th and 33rd picks. adding a 3rd is barely adding any value.

Like dude use some common sense. I could show this proposal to 100 new hockey fans and at least 99% would not be stupid enough to think that proposal is fair in anyway. the 1% will be the guy with brain damage. is that guy you

why would the ducks do this. do you ever think of another teams side. the ducks already have gibson. why would they waste assets on a guy who only has 1 year left. especially if the ask is zegras.

ullmark is good but there is no way he is getting a zegras type player even if you add a garbage d-man like peeke. ullmark has 1 year left on his deal. he will get a late 1st for sure but no where near what some of you bruins fans are thinking. yes zegras had a bad year but he is still 23. there is no way the ducks would trade him for a garbage d-man and a goalie that will walk in 1 year especially when they already have gibson and dostal.

Only rational for this trade is your delusion that thinks it will happen. half fun getting a late 1st for ullmark because thats all hes getting. he was so good that the bruins would not even want him to start for them in the playoffs. lol

As mentioned in the description, I have no idea of the trades other than the anaheim one which i put a bit of thought into. Peeke performed really well and Gibson isn't amazing so they could get rid of him. This was just a thinking out loud anyways. try and get picks with something for Ullmark. Zegras and Anaheim aren't working out from what I understand

Only thinking because Gibson isn't that great, and Ullmark could add for them. Peeke played well for the Bruins. also, Zegras and Anaheim aren't working out from my understanding. Again, just thinking out loud like the name said. I want picks and a good center.

dude, you just made my day, to take something so serious when it is literally just thinking out loud. Trying to find a way for more picks and a center. Be butthurt if you would like, I just started looking at contracts and trades as a part of hockey I pay attention to. To insult someone who is just beginning to look at that side really says something about your character lmao

To start with, Gibson is a good goalie. Our defense was better than the season prior, but we had 3 rookies and Radio Gudas as our upgrades, and we're still running waivers claims throughout the season. Not the utter dog **** defense of 2022/23, but still nowhere near "good" either. Gibsons 5v5 GSAX numbers were fine, he got killed on the PK, as the Ducks were the most heavily penalized team in the league by a wide margin. At one point in the season the gap between the Ducks and 2nd most penalized was more than the gap between 2nd most penalized and least penalized.

Second, a year of a 30 year old second best on his current team goalie only holds value to a team looking to make the push from contender to champ, that's not the Ducks, and even to a team who would value Ullmark, retention would certainly be required to maximize value, even then, he doesn't pull a player like Zegras.

The rumours are the same as they've always been, teams are calling Verbeek about Z, he's not being shopped, Anaheim isn't looking to unload him. Like any player, a sufficient offer can get him, but he's under contract for two more seasons and his RFA rights are intact after that, we've got all the time in the world for an offer we like to appear, or he just stays a Duck.

stop making excuses. if you say you are a hockey fan how the **** do you not know that garbage players do not get 1st round picks. Its called using common sense. Go get your self checked you brain damaged idiot.

joining this site has nothing to do with using common sense. Do you not have any common sense. How do you function in society. 99% of hockey fans already know crap doesn't get you good ****. The other 1% have brain damage like you.

if you don't want to get called out stop posting crap. Your proposal for the sharks is literally some of the worst **** on this website. 2 garbage players for 2 good picks. wow

It's a matter of trying to foster a community, my online friend. All it takes is a little care in how to express your opinion. 'I think your trade is really bad because..' instead of 'What, are you stupid?'

I really enjoy this forum as I get to interact with other fan bases and toss about ideas that have to adhere to the often confusing NHL rules. The part where users are meanspirited can be jarring to new users. I think OP can understand from the well worded responses above their posts shortcomings. I'm not a mod but as a relatively new user; I tried to encourage him to keep trying.
