Boeser > late 1st, late 2nd > Vesey/Chmelar. That trade is awful for the Canucks

Pettersson alone is worth more than that Columbus package. I don’t know why you have us adding Hoglander also

I mean, that works for the Jackets, but we really don't need or want the extra wings, and it seems a tad odd to pay that much for KJ only to let him walk.

Jackets take that trade and then sign Kent Johnson to a no compensation offer sheet since you are low-balling him so much on his next contract.

They are ineligible to negotiate a contract (offer sheet) with any other club. They are also ineligible for arbitration. If the player does not receive a qualifying offer by June 25th at 5:00pm ET, they immediately become a UFA.
