    If CHI wants Smith in a similar way they wanted Hall a year ago, then a deal can be made.

    I agree we dont need to move both that bad, but when the price is to move down one round twice- I would definitely think about it

    I love the premise. I think time in the AHL would be good for all of them. And using our NHL roster space for short term cap dumps helps us add more draft capital. Also, these cap dumps being seasoned veterans who are at least serviceable, likely makes us more competitive in the short term, if that actually is the goal for next season.

    The reason Lou got the extra 2nd rounder is for us to keep our 1st and move 1 of the 2nd's to offset a contract.
