So San Jose was really tanking for Mitch Marner all along. Brilliant.

Lmao Canucks pass easily. The point of moving Mikheyev is to clear cap. Not taking back a cap dump and bottom 6 player that would result in zero cap savings. Not to mention asking for a 1st and 2nd is absurd

Yeah Vancouver isn't paying a 1st and a 2nd to turn Mikheyev into two players

No chance Canucks give a 1st and 2nd to not save any cap room.

As bad as Ilya's season was he still put up more points then Kampf or Jarnkrok in a season which he was returning from a major knee injury. Canucks decline.

And marner is better than this years 1st overall pick. 3 100 point seasons and still under 30. It's called proven

No, it's called cap management which is why he's not worth the 1st overall...not a chance! Marner at a $12M extension is not better than Celebrini at $925K and locked in for years as a RFA...not one GM in the league would take Marner over Celebrini

ZERO 100 point seasons, but I round up to make my points, also! And relax, yes I realize his PPG pace would have got him there, but in that case you could claim four.

He's a talented guy, Toronto should really keep him.

Marner is the only player with 3 100 point seasons without ever hitting 100 points

Giving up a first and a second to dump Mikheyev is brilliant, especially in a trade where he don't save cap money. We also spend all that just to let the guys we'd resign with that money walk to Toronto instead?

Doesn't mean you can't at least be reasonable and not live in never never land when you publish them to the forums. Don't like feedback don't post.
