RW spot on 2nd line could us upgraded, true.
But we're not signing more old guy to clutter the roster with so many youth turning pro in the AHL or NHL this year
Too many pieces in play plus Tuch-F.Xhekaj are in Laval already and bonded in their few games last year to end their season.
I suspect you see Florian up after the TDL and depending on Tuch's start he might join him

Cant bring in 2 wingers until after TDL or else you're wasting the chance you need to test your AHL talent post TDL.
MTL needs time and if we want to rush it then we re-sign Monahan who helped many youth grow the last 2 years.
With so many young Centers turning Pro guys like Monahan are a huge help in them being able to jump to Center at the NHL level and not Drouin it
