I think Stephenson gets 6 mil.

Copp got 5.6 and Compher got 5.1

Stephenson is better than both.

But SJ can certainly afford to pay him. 🤭

SJ shouldn't have a problem attracting UFA's now that Celebrini is here. 😁

Do you think we could just keep Rutta playing 2Rd for this year instead of going out and getting 2 right defensemen?

Not if we want to get better. We have five 3 pair level RD: Rutta, Addison, Benning, Burroughs, Emberson. Let's keep Emberson, ship out the rest, and bring in a true 1RD and 2RD.

I'd say go get one of those two UFA dmen long term this offseason. Yes you're getting better now, but once any high picks from this year, Thompson, Muk, Havelid, etc. are ready to make the jump, you have a bit of a logjam there.
