Calgary and Nashville both easily accept.

Why are you trading so much for Pospisil?

Aint no way in hell Mathnson is worth 17OA and if he is, Caps have zero interest. They are already set on their left side and desperately need to keep their 1sts unless it's for a legit young forward.

Why are you paying a 1st AND 2nd for Pospisil? that's a massive overpayment, especially when you stick him on the 4th line

Because it will take an overpay to get him out of Calgary. Him and Slavkofsky have been really good together at the world championship.

L'Heureux's stock has risen and is becoming exactly the player we need. This is an easy decline. Not that the offer isn’t fair I’d just rather hang on him

The reason I see Matheson going to Washington is because they are one of the teams with the fewest points from their defensemen in 2023-2024 and I think they will want to compete for the next two years. Good teams in the playoffs have a lot of offense from their defense.

If WAS is not in the playoffs by March, it will be easy for them to flip Matheson to a contending team for another good draft choice.

I agree they need more offense from their D but the issue is they are set on their D on the left side, at least in their top 4 so wouldn't be a fit.
