No from Winnipeg. They can't spend their most valuable trade chip on a player they don't need.

Only reason being cuz they'd probably rather that one over their 1st back lol, but it could go the opposite way and they take theirs back.

Sens are drafting at 7. They can’t afford not to

Ullmark not worth #7 man. They either accept the Boston pick or we have to look for a different option~

Of course they'd RATHER get Ottawa's 1st lmao it's a top 10 pick. I'm sure they'd rather get Tim Stützle too, doesn't mean it's worthwhile for Ottawa.

Don't need Brannstrom but I'm sure Detroit takes that and facilitates a trade moving him elsewhere. I wouldn't mind Kastelic as a fourth liner.

Take Forsberg out and I'd probably accept that Boston trade proposal with the pick being Boston's 2024 1st. I don't know much about the prospect, but I saw "power forward" in his bio, and you know that is the kind of wording that gets Cam Neely weak in the knees.

If you need to get rid of Forsberg for cap reasons, you could either find another taker, or you'd probably need to attach something like a mid-to-late round pick back to Boston. Boston has a younger, cheaper backup who they will likely lose to waivers if they don't keep him with the big club, so taking on Forsberg from the Bruin's perspective is effectively a cap dump.

Jarventie has some NHL experience and has played on the 4th line as a call-up.

He'd be beneficial in Providence for sure, and would most likely find some time on the main roster during the season.

That means no to the trade, and the rumors suggest Demelo wants to stay.

Kasty can be gritty at times and has found a home as our 4th line C for the last couple seasons.

If Branny gets flipped he'd most likely land you a mid to late round pick along with a body. He is a skilled d-man, he just hasnt gotten the time to show the highest level of skillset due to the incompetence of the previous coach/GM duo. Which is a shame cuz I've always liked Branny, but his days are likely numbered as OTT is planning a big shake-up on their backend.

Or just give Detroit a 4th for Maatta. He is being moved for the cap space.
