Getting rid of half of Anderson's contract just to bring in an over paid Bennet would be a mistake

I don't see the Sharks doing that. They need top 6 forwards and top 4 D. They'd be trading down for a bottom 6 forward and a last pairing defenseman.

Goyette is a big time piece to move up only 3 spots. I would say if Lindstrom or if somehow Demidov is still available at 5, then I'd be willing to make that trade, as RW's after Firkus is not great. Having Demidov and Firkus as top 6 RW's for the future sounds great, but I doubt Demidov would be available at 5OA.

Lindstrom is potentially a better option, and offers a lot of the same skill as Goyette, and potentially more upside which would be interesting.

If neither of them are available, SEA would likely just hang on to 8OA and try to get someone like Parekh instead

Sharks decline. If anything I think they try to move up and grab one of the top D from this class.

For the Habs to move down, id want Goyette and their unprotected 1st next year. Then selecting Iginla is an awful decision. Habs need actual elite talent. Not some kid whos a 2nd line winger and his Dad was in the NHL. If his name was anything but Iginla, hed be a 10-15th overall pick
