Chicago take Levshunov at the 2nd overall selection, but the Ducks will gonna want also a Dman instead of Demidov. So They make a trade to going down for two spot (because they know that Columbus will gonna want to select Lindstrom or Demidov and the Habs are more open to take a foward instead of a Dman).

So, they make that trade to go down two spot and they receive somes assets because of that.

Anaheim does this is they think they're still getting a top pair RHD at 5. So really all depends on their opinion of Parekh

I think they will : Columbus and Montreal are likely gonna take a foward, depending of Lindstrom or Demidov.

Anaheim don't need offense, they REALLY need a RD with a stacked Draft like this one (and I think it's one of the reason of why they decided to get rid of Drysdale).

I think having a chance to get Demidov, Lindstrom, Eiserman or Iginla at Number 5 is a good start for Montreal. No need to trade the other picks to select for sure Demidov. I think the CBJ select a defense.

I agree with you. I think this could be an option if Levshunov is gone, mostly because I'm liking more and more what I see from Zayne Parekh and if he's the next available RHD and will likely still be on the board at 5, the Ducks could take him or look at some of the other top guys that are still available.
