I think this makes more sense for CHI than all of the other Mikheyev trades I've seen. We don't need more 2nd round or later picks, our reserve and contract limits are already nearing uncomfortably close to their maximum, and we have plenty of players who project in the bottom 6 to 9. Packaging together picks to get higher quality should be the aim for CHI in these types of trades.

Yeah I think this deal would fit with what hawks are trying to do

Canucks would rather spend that money (or less) on Blueger and/or use Aman. Kampf also had pretty bad defensive numbers this year
