I'd rather have PLD than Dvorak + Anderson if the Kings want to be competitive this season.

Doubt if Lee has Montreal on his trade list. Seven years of PLD is still bad by any metric. Not much of a premium to take two years of bad contract Mikeheyev.

There’s no way anyone wants PLD now. People are breaking out their buyout calculators. He’s done this to Columbus, Winnipeg and now LA. No chance. Kaliyev = Galchenyuk all over again. No thank you.

But you're adding cap for Los Angeles, which defeats the whole purpose of trading DuBois because he's odds-on to produce more than Anderson and Dvorak combined this coming season.

DuBois for Anderson and the second is barely conceivable, but I think Blake will tough it out for another year.
