Why would Teuvo sign that? Carolina could offer him more term to keep him around at a slightly lower cap hit, and he'd make more than he would signing for 5 in Toronto. You're better off looking at guys like Tarasenko that were pure rentals this deadline and were traded to teams that know they were not going to be long-term options. Teuvo ain't that
