Description

This mock surrounds a trade for starting goalie Juuse Saros. While that trade may change, I think Nashville sees a long-term use for both Alex Holtz and Seamus Casey, and would gladly take the picks. It's a steep price, and risky, since Saros will need a new contract which may be very costly. To supplement the roster, the defensive core remains the same, while making additions to the forward group in the form of David Perron and Anthony Duclair.

As a Preds fan, this Saros proposal is too much.

And these Saros proposal suggestions are too little.

NJ's 2024 1st, 2026 2nd, Casey and Karpovich for Saros and Tomasino.

Now this Saros proposal is just right.
