Capitals are likely unable to move Kuemper without having to give up a significant pick / prospect so they buy him out.

Backstrom Oshie and Bear are all LTIR or Bear goes to the Bears

I am not into the draft prospects as deeply as you but I like the thought process.
Not many of these posts I agree with but these are good.

CHI will most likely be interested in trading up, but I highly doubt they are selecting Jiricek. He won't go as early as a lot of public scouts have him. I think he will slide to the 2nd round. CHI has a much bigger need for top of the lineup forwards, and at that 17 to 20 range the talent pool is pretty much the same this year. I don't think they will be clamoring to move up 3 spots unless someone they REALLY like is falling in the draft order, like Moore did last year. I'd be more interested in keeping the Tampa pick and packaging some other picks and/or prospects together to get a third 1st round pick, and I would prefer it to be in the 15 - 10 or higher (unlikely) range.
