Marner to OTT will help both teams

Description
Marner would play so much better on a line with Tkachuk to protect him ,I think the 2 would light it up.
This way the major parts are 1 year out and would have to work out a contract extension for this to work for both teams.
Makes TML a much deeper team with good physical players on each line also capable of scoring.
Takes a big weight off Rielly to not be the only offensive defence !
Joseph is a solid Knies type player who is young!

I like the value here, but if a Marner Ext is gunna cost 10+ mil then sens aren't interested. The likely scenario is he finishes next year with TML and walks to FA.

Joseph has more value then you think, he has some term at good cap hit and had 35 points but not a full 82 games , plus he is quite physical.
TML are cash strapped and can not afford 5.5M Bertuzzi who had what 10 more points lmao!
If you think he sucks you clearly have no idea how he plays!

I don't think Marner -> Ottawa really makes sense for Ottawa but like, yeah I could certainly stomach that trade price if it had to happen

I think marner may have to come to reality and accept more like a Nylander contract at 11 or 11.5 to get signed.

The Sens arent trying to move him. He’s a middle 6 speedy 2 way winger who makes less than 3 mill and was on a 40pt pace

You do realize Bert when 30+ games with 1 goals right? It's not an accomplishment to have 10 less points than a guy who can't score


And 15 of his points were from a hot streak, where besides that, he's on a 30 point pace...


Most teams won't pay any value for that
