I actually got a chuckle out of that Zegras trade. I honestly think I wouldn’t trade a 3rd for those two players right now. No room in the top 9 for Robo at full health, and Lilj is not at all our answer at RD. You guys know that, which is why he’s been offered up in virtually every TOR ACGM

Since Timothy Liljegren is the single most often traded player in all Toronto ACGMs despite the recent tsunami of posts dumping Mitch Marner, why do so many Toronto fans think that he's a valuable and sought-after commodity? Brayden Schneider is the sort of right-shot top-4 RhD Pat Verbeek was talking about pursuing in the off-season; Timothy Liljegren isn't.

I think they fire Keefe and trade Marner. Those two are necessary changes. JT's contract is not movable so he'll stay until he reaches UFA status next year. And the other big question mark is Rielly. Treliving didn't sign him to his extension, and he's known for getting big defencemen, so a Rielly trade is not out of the realm of possibility. I hate to see him go but the Leafs play better without him.
