Necas for the right price sure. Hronek would probably be part of whatever package the Nucks and Canes worked with.

Doubt Lou moves him, but I feel like we must

            I'd want a 50%:

            First
            roster player for cap
            A good prospect

I’m not familiar with Vancouver’s prospects/young players but Philly is gonna want a 1st and a top prospect or two 1sts. Briere wanted two 1sts and a top prospect last year because he doesn’t wanna move TK even tho they probably should.

Any chance Pulock would shake loose if the team looks to make big changes? With Dobson ahead of him at RHD maybe look to move a long term contract for a 30+ player?

Can’t see the Canucks moving Hoglander. Cheap, 20+ goals all at 5v5, and good chemistry with Pettersson

I can't see him getting 2 firsts as he is a pending UFA but would something like a first + Raty + something minor work?

If you're excluding Lekkermaki, Hoglander, and Wallinder, I would hope PHI wouldnt make a trade with VAN. There would be no real high end asset coming back to PHI. If I had to put together a package, I suppose it would be something like:

            Podkolzin
            Raty
            2025 1st
            2025 2nd

I imagine VAN fans would consider this an overpay. But TBH i wouldnt want either of those prospects as they seem like long-shot projects but I guess i'd understand as theres good quantity there...

Again, if you're top prospects are off the table, I wouldnt want to do the deal if I'm PHI

I would hope Briere doesnt give TK away for that package. I think Raty is toe-ing bust realm

I think that’s pretty harsh on Raty. He had an elite D+1 year in the Finnish league, struggled last year, but has been really good this year in the AHL. He’s still a pretty good prospect

I feel like that package is slightly over what I'd pay for but overall pretty fair. I'd imagine VAN pushes for either the first or second to be a 2026 pick though so they can keep at least 1 pick in the first two rounds between 2024-2025

than why isnt he on your team? my point is, hes fine... but would you trade your best trade chip for "fine?" It would dissapoint me for Raty (who is trending toward a 3rd line winger in the NHL - maybe 2nd liner if your optimistic) to be the main peice of a trade for TK

Pulock is an interesting trade idea. I see a lot of Jets fans proposing an Ehlers for Pulock swap so that gives you a base for value. Hoglander would be the main piece I'd want personally, I'd be fine taking a contract back too + 1st. Maybe I am overvaluing him but RD are apparently the hardest position to find which I find strange considering 80% of the world is right handed

than why isnt he on your team? my point is, hes fine... but would you trade your best trade chip for "fine?" It would dissapoint me for Raty (who is trending toward a 3rd line winger in the NHL - maybe 2nd liner if your optimistic) to be the main peice of a trade for TK

We have good forward depth and aren’t rushing our prospects to the NHL

And I was pretty happy last year when he was a main trade chip in the Horvat trade

If Lekkerimaki is off the table the Canes next ask would be Hronek they need either a good roster player or a young guy who can make an impact sooner rather than later in return for Necas.

Directly matching Ehlers-Pulock for the Canucks would probably be Boeser-Pulock, but the Canucks can't afford to give up their only true scoring winger.

I'd consider something around Hoglander but I'm not sure it would be worth it move a young, effective, cost controlled player for a 30+ player. It would be a big hit to move him along with a 1st. For a contract going back it would likely be Mikheyev. For it to be appealing for the Canucks the structure of the deal would be something like Mikheyev + Podkolzin + 1st 2025 + 2nd 2025. You could choose any prospect other than Lekkerimaki or Wallinder.

You could probably get Marner for him though.

I feel like that package is slightly over what I'd pay for but overall pretty fair. I'd imagine VAN pushes for either the first or second to be a 2026 pick though so they can keep at least 1 pick in the first two rounds between 2024-2025

Piggybacking but yeah TK isnt coming without it being a 1st and one of ur top prospects it’s just the minimum Briere would even think of moving him for or he will just be re-signed

Willander. Which means it's not happening.
