PHI good with this. WPG is definitely not on board with that trade

what use do we have for an extremely over paid winger who dissapears when it matters most? no thanks. keep the peices, or sell em for picks

we'd also take Lekkerimaki 1 for 1 btw. kid is a stud

than why isnt he on your team? my point is, hes fine... but would you trade your best trade chip for "fine?" It would dissapoint me for Raty (who is trending toward a 3rd line winger in the NHL - maybe 2nd liner if your optimistic) to be the main peice of a trade for TK

I would hope Briere doesnt give TK away for that package. I think Raty is toe-ing bust realm

If you're excluding Lekkermaki, Hoglander, and Wallinder, I would hope PHI wouldnt make a trade with VAN. There would be no real high end asset coming back to PHI. If I had to put together a package, I suppose it would be something like:
Podkolzin
Raty
2025 1st
2025 2nd
I imagine VAN fans would consider this an overpay. But TBH i wouldnt want either of those prospects as they seem like long-shot projects but I guess i'd understand as theres good quantity there...
Again, if you're top prospects are off the table, I wouldnt want to do the deal if I'm PHI

Trade Pieces Please
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Stanley_Cup_To_Manhattan</b></div><div>No one is paying that much so I imagine they re-sign him</div></div>
This is exactly the problem. I love TK, but we need to extract 1 high end prospect from his value. He's worth a lot to teams who can compete. I just dont think we can until we have 1-2 more actual high end pieces. Use him as fodder for young talent imo

These are THE 2 best Buffalo prospects. You're saying BUFF adds? I doubt it. This is all the positive impact guys PHI has to give. In exchange for two Gems. My rationale is that Adams starts to feel some heat and needs to find "culture builders"
Cap space for BUFF might be a problem, we'd probably have to take a cap dump back. But in reality, these types of trades never happen

this exactly. lots of people dont understand that PHI isnt really that close to the cap. Ellis is on IR not LTIR in order to accrue cap space.

no thanks from philly. you're getting what you've deemed as a top RHD a 2nd pair RHD and a 2nd line C for a first and junk. i guess lilli is good but its weird that no one from TML want him...

this is kind of what i'd expect out of a return for those 2 from a PHI point of view. I would love for PHI to find a way to get Lucius or Lambert. Doubtful, but im curious as to what the price would be...

Zegras would have to publicly admit that he "likes" playing defense "sometimes" and even "understands" that's its "necessary" despite make 0 attempt to do so in his career. Also, didnt a few insiders already come out saying PHI has no interest in Zegras

Weird... great value, i'd admit. But with Hart leaving. Errson is a tough piece to let go. Id actually say PHI would deny this trade. IMO is pretty equal, but i dont think PHI does it based on the fact that they are giving up a starting G and a 2nd line C. PLus their two other trade deadline peices. they have nothing else to add value during the trade deadline

Playoffs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>fangm</b></div><div>Saying Bert isn't worth a 1st is just irrational. All evidence says he is. He had 4 goals and 14 points when he was traded at the deadline last year for a 1st and 4th. There were way more options last year as well than this year.
Lili is worth more than Frost. Lili has been playing 1st/2nd line throughout this season for Toronto. Frost has been in and out of the lineup.
Nobody has said Walker is getting a 1st. Everyone says he's getting a 3rd or 2nd at most.</div></div>
1st - Bert wasnt worth what you paid for him then, and is worth less now
2nd - if lili is worth more than frost, keep him. we're good without him, PHI needs center depth
3rd - Walker will be traded to a team with a 2nd more than likely. so lets mock up some trades that dont involve the leafs 2043 2nd rounder
