Take out jarnkrok and Kampf and Chicago might accept. They don't need any bottom 6 forwards

Doubting if player with a M NTC would have Hawks on their trade list.....Jarnkrok and Kampf
Doubting if any competent GM would start the season with a 20 man roster.

You say this so much over and over again and yet many teams do it because the of the cap. It's entirely possible for not only Toronto but multiple teams to start with a 20 man roster because it allows them to accumulate cap space daily instead of not gain anything.

You mean this isn't the recruit pool for billion-dollar franchises seeking employees?

I think you have see how the playoffs go before thinking any of the guys on the current squad are brought back. If Bertuzzi doesn't do anything in the playoffs but Liljegren has a good playoffs, who is getting money to come back? What if Domi doesn't have a good playoffs. Until the leafs do something in the playoffs I imagine no one is a lock beyond the core

No reason to ship 3 legitimately good players off to Chicago for just a 2nd. Would take a 1st+ or bedard

So you pile all the crap you don’t want in Toronto and try to ship to the Hawks… oh you also then have the audacity to ask for a 2nd round pick in return. That’s an easy pass for the Hawks

As others have mentioned, the Hawks might send a 2nd or 3rd for Liljegren but Kampf and Jarnkrok would have no value to the Hawks and are basically cap dumps. If they are included, Kampf eliminates any pick Chicago would send for Liljegren and Jarnkrok would require a 3rd or 4th stapled to his ass for the Hawks to accept.
