Doesn’t make any sense for Colorado. They just got Mittelstadt this year, and he is miles better than what that package suggests. They gave Byram for him…

Pass
He's about to be 26 in his 6th year pro and has not Term
All he has to do is sign a 1 year deal and he's a UFA
Too Old and Not enough term as a result

There's no Guarantee Dvorak eve makes it for Camp after his surgery.
Even if he does it most likely he'll end up back on LTIR anyways
No real motivation to move him TBH

Besides the Coach is high on Roy and more importantly we cant lose another Roy trade to COL under Molson Ownership

Roy is more promising than Mesar rn ngl.

That's why I asked for a switch........................

Roy can become a way better player than Casey at the same age......

Ok so u want the worst player between these 2? Fine.

The deal has Roy in it. You said switch with Mesar. I said Roy is more promising. You said that's why i asked for a switch.

No, I want to keep Roy and send Mesar to COL for Casey because Roy is more promisin than Mesar.

I didn't said the opposite...... Read carefully.

Why would Colorado do this?

Dvorak is injured, expensive, and bad. Struble would be battling for 7D.

So basically Roy and a 2nd for the Avs 2C? The guy the Avs just traded Byram for?

How does this help Colorado win the cup?

Is that directed at me?

Colorado has a top 4 that’s absolutely locked (Makar/Toews/Girard/Manson). At best, Struble fights for bottom pair minutes.

Right now the Avs have Walker-Johnson as a bottom pair. They’ve historically had a vet like Johnson on the bottom pairing. Tbd what they do with Walker’s role. At best, that’s what Struble is fighting for.

Struble has 22 games before he needs to pass through waivers. So Colorado is basically giving up their recently acquired 2C in hopes that Struble can stick on the bottom pairing. That is dumb.

At that point, I’d rather just sign league minimum depth or shop someone else’s waiver D.
