Maybe, as a replacement for Teuvo, but that would need to be done late into the summer

Meh, great depth winger on a team like that. I could see Jersey valuing grabbing a one year winger just to maintain cap flexibility in future seasons. Palat has taken up too much space to date

Yup.

I was more focused on the Flames depth chart post moves but tried to find decently realistic homes for the wingers moved out.

Dallas declines. Not giving up a 1st Round Pick for a winger they don't need. Faksa is also a very strong defensive forward that eats a ton of PK minutes and is borderline elite in the faceoff dots. Is he overpaid? Maybe, but he's not a liability on the ice. Would rather have him on my roster at full price for one more year than lose him and a 1st Round Pick for 3 more years of a $4.9M winger Dallas doesn't need.

I don't think the cost of a 2nd, even for half retained, is a good use of assets for a depth winger. If anything the Devils could use a top 6 winger IF Jack can be 2C full time again and Haula is 3C...but I would rather not spend assets on a deal like this.
