What does it take

Description
Interested in hearing other fanbases opinion on what it would take for the sens to get the players added in these trades. For me tkachuk, stutzle, Sanderson and pinto are all non starters but anything else could be in play for the right deal. Let’s hear some fair deals! Also these deals would more than likely happen in the off-season.

That’s why I said it would be an off-season move.

Depending on the deal, Askarov may be available if you want to take a swing at that.

it's a bit more than just mindless speculation. it's been strongly indicated that ullmark won't waive for a canadian team.

Nashville’s needs:
A strong high end center prospect like pinto
Norris need not apply due to his long injury history, recent performance, and contract.

RHD prospect that projects to be 1st pairing
No interest in Chychrun. Nashville is retooling and Chychrun has made it clear he doesnt like being on that kind of team.

High 1st round picks

Askarov absolutely is not available. The fanbase would turn on trotz so fast if he chose to ride with Saros and trade away one of the best goaltending prospects outside of the NHL. It's a no brainer that Askarov is the future of Nashville's goaltending. He's 21 and Saros is 28. As much as I love Saros, if we're trading a goalie it won't be Askarov

If we trade Askarov and get back a top 6 C I don't hate it. We can re-up Saros and draft/develop another replacement. The moves Trotz is making lately doesn't point towards waiting, and he already was offering up Askarov at last year's draft. As much as you might not like it, fairly certain Trotz is looking to be competitive sooner than later.

Shane Pinto and a juicy extension in the offseason that makes Ullmark remove Ottawa from his no trade list

The return would likely be similar with the pedigree being carried. Either goalie trade would require a top 6 C option to be a staple.

Since you have no prospect pool to speak of, it would take one of your young, highly coveted NHL players plus a pick (depending on who you send). Sanderson could potentially be a 1-for-1 as a Josi replacement. Maybe Pinto plus this year's first.

If it is a horse trade then it would have to be a high profit horse trade. AZ has no need or desire to trade one of their tendies. OTT should not want to make a trade like this but...

Zub for Vejmelka

Far more likely that Nashville trades saros over ottawa trading away their stud 21 year old #1 defender.

very true. also far more likely Saros goes anywhere but Ottawa since they have one of the worst prospect pools in the league and don't want to trade the young quality roster pieces they do have.

All depends on Norris really. If he can get healthy sens could part with Ridley greig or pinto. That’s a big question mark though
