And he is NOT worth 2 AHLers either. Too little.

If you remove your fan-bias, and look at current market value, you know that your offer will be declined 100 times out of 100.
It was done out of spite. And no one thinks Monahan is worth 2 X 1st round picks.

Agreed all around. Monahan will likely fetch a late first rounder or maybe a 2nd + okayish prospect but very unlikely that deal is with Toronto (I just got a notification saying Winnipeg is close to landing him).

From Toronto's point of view, I'd like to see if we could get Evans instead at a lower cost...guy can give C depth and help the PK and has another year left at a good cap
