Love the idea as an Oilers fan... I think the Bruins would laugh at this offer. I don't think they'll ship Sway (tbh I think they'd keep him offer Ullmark). Our offer would have to have Nuge or Drai, and we just simply won't do that. Tough, but I don't see a deal happening between the two teams.

They do need prospects though and centers

Swayman is going to cost a lot more than people expect simply because Boston has zero reason to trade him. Hes already a top 10 goalie in the league maybe higher, and he's still only 25 years old. If they were to move a goalie it'd be Ullmark.

Bruins will move Ullmark before they move swayman, saves you assets too this is an overpayment but I understand it’d take an overpayment to get him

Not sure a team that's trying to compete would have any interest in McLeod or Broberg. Those are guys that need to go to teams that can handle a project and accept that there's a good chance that they just aren't very good NHL players.

Also not sure how much of a needle mover Borgault is. Would he be one of Boston's better prospects? Yeah sure but that being said this is two teams with pretty weak pools.

Swayman is having a Vezina caliber season, I can't see Boston given where they're at deciding to ship either of their goalies without a massive impact to the roster. If it aint broke dont fix it.

This is probably a fair offer (1st and 1st rd prospects) but there isn't anything of interest to Boston. IF they move a goalie, it won't be in season, and they would need a top 6 center and/or wing.

Bruins will also be moving Ullmark before Swayman, and I have to guess EDM is on his no-trade.

Boston is a damn good team with chemistry and skill as well as fit to the coaches system. Any move they make is going to complement that point.

Good teams generally limit the amount of young players in their top 6 and can frankly use minimum contracts / young players to fill voids.

I believe the Bruins think Swayman is their goalie for the next decade. They aren’t looking to trade him and would have to be utterly blown away to even entertain it. This isn’t the deal with Edmonton to where they consider it. Neither is RNH.
